Who Are We
Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra was established in 2013. The organization aims to assist visually impaired students who move to cities for their education. Recognizing the difficulties these students encounter, Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra provides a dormitory. This dormitory offers a safe and accessible living space. It also provides support for daily living, healthcare, and emotional well-being.

Leading the Way
At Mamata Andha-Anath Kalyan Kendra (MAAKK), we are dedicated to empowering visually impaired young men, aged 16 to 28, as they chase their dreams. From academic pursuits spanning Grade 11 to postgraduate studies, to embarking on professional careers, we support them every step of the way. Located in Pune, Maharashtra, our dormitory provides a safe and nurturing home for 35–40 visually impaired and orphaned youths, offering not just shelter, but a launchpad for independence and success.

Mr. Tushar Kamble, the visionary founder of Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra, embarked on a transformative journey in 2013 to illuminate the lives of visually impaired students. Driven by a profound commitment to compassion, he established the NGO to provide not just food and shelter, but a foundation for dignity and independence. Through his unwavering dedication, Mr. Kamble has created a sanctuary where challenges are met with opportunities and every individual is empowered to thrive.
Mrs. Aparna Lele
Mrs. Aparna Lele, the dynamic Director of Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra, joined the mission in 2015 with a heart full of empathy and a vision for impact. Leveraging her expertise in crowdfunding, she played a pivotal role in securing financial support to ensure the sustainable growth of the organization. Her relentless efforts have transformed dreams into reality, enabling countless visually impaired students to find hope, stability, and a brighter future.

Mrs. Sarika Kamble, the dedicated Treasurer of Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra, has been the unwavering support behind Mr. Tushar Kamble since the organization’s inception. A pillar of strength and compassion, she not only manages the organization’s finances with precision but also steps into the kitchen when needed, ensuring every student feels cared for. Her hands-on approach and heartfelt commitment embody the spirit of service that drives the Kendra’s mission forward.
Mr. Shekhar Naik
Mr. Shekhar Naik, a visionary young Director of Mamata Andha Anath Kalyan Kendra, joined the mission in 2022 with a passion for advancing healthcare and creating employment pathways for visually impaired students. Focused on building corporate partnerships, he has been instrumental in bridging the gap between talent and opportunity. Through his efforts, students are being upskilled to meet private sector demands, transforming challenges into avenues of empowerment and self-reliance.
